Agile Mindset Journal

Inwardly Silent Journal

A personal reflection in progress on how the agile principles of feedback, iteration, and systems thinking unexpectedly shaped my path through physical and cognitive recovery after a serious injury.

This journal is a living side project and still evolving. Over time, I may publish excerpts or a longer piece. Until then, thank you for your interest in this journey.

Recently, a Product Owner who learned about the method this journal is being built, mirrors how they were taught to craft user stories . By following the pattern of Madman, Architect, and Builder, a creative thinking approach often known as Madman, Architect, Carpenter, Judge, which is even used in drafting laws.

By sharing parts of this experience, I hope to spark conversations about how we adapt, learn, and design our own recovery, whether from injury, burnout, or life’s unexpected shifts. If any of this resonates, I warmly invite you to share your thoughts, questions, or reflections in the comments below.

Your perspective may shape what comes next.
