Built using a customized a Photography child theme to retain the site's original photography-focused design while improving performance and SEO. Using WordPress, PHP, APIs, jQuery, AJAX, HTML/CSS, I optimized page structure and implemented minimization techniques to ensure faster load times without losing visual impact andd achieve better UI/UX.

To support SEO and content management, I developed a custom C# tool that works alongside my Semrush subscription—automating scans for broken links, redirects, and keyword presence to keep the site healthy and search-friendly.

A second round of improvements is planned for Q4, including a Vue.js-based homepage refresh, further minimisation, along with and a more impactful landing page hero section, aimed at increasing engagement and delivering stronger CRO which will be improved along side Hotjar.

Project Overview

The site is built entirely with PHP, APIs, MySQL, HTML/CSS, vanilla JS, jQuery & AJAX

  • Custom Design & Development: Tailored PHP backend with file and MySQL storage.

  • Data Delivery: All dictionary data is read via PHP APIs for flexibility and performance.

  • User Contributions: Visitors can submit phrases, add context images, and interact with content — anonymously or via login.

  • Personalization: PHP sessions and cookies let users set how “rude” or absurd they want their dictionary experience to be.

  • Social Sharing: Integrated Facebook and LinkedIn sharing to spread the Maltish spirit far and wide.

This project is a practical example of Product Management, from POC to v1 release, user engagement spurring a v2 plan.

Project Overview

A multi-themed website featuring four distinct visual themes inspired by key symbols from the Harry Potter story. On each visit, a theme is randomly loaded, and users can easily switch between themes while browsing.

The site is built entirely with HTML, CSS, PHP & jQuery

All visual design, front-end styling, and back-end scripting were created from scratch. I handle all updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance to ensure the site stays secure, fast, and user-friendly.

This project demonstrates my ability to combine creative web design with practical PHP development and front-end scripting for dynamic, engaging user experience
